Luleå University of Technology, one of Sweden’s leading research‑driven institutions, awarded me the Degree of Master of Science (120 credits) in Information Security, a second‑cycle EQF‑7 qualification delivered mainly in English and fully aligned with European academic and Bologna standards. The program is internationally recognized for its strong integration of research, applied security practices, and advanced digital‑infrastructure studies. Through courses such as Strategic Security & IT‑Management, Information Security Risk Management, Internet Security, Applied Computer Security, Business Intelligence, IT‑Infrastructure Security, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Security Architecture, and a 30‑credit master thesis, I developed a comprehensive understanding of modern cybersecurity challenges and solutions.

This degree strengthened my expertise in areas essential to today’s digital world: governance, risk management, secure system design, threat analysis, and protection of critical national infrastructure. The program’s emphasis on analytical thinking, scientific methodology, and practical implementation allowed me to merge academic research with real‑world security operations — a combination that became central to my professional work in Sweden, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

For A2I – Academy to Industry, this academic background is a cornerstone. It enables me to design high‑level cybersecurity programs that are not only academically sound but also directly applicable to industry needs. The depth of knowledge gained at Luleå University empowers A2I to deliver training that reflects global standards, modern security frameworks, and practical skills required for professional cybersecurity roles.
